What happens when email arrives:

The system has been trained with over 1000 SPAM messages. When an email arrives, it will compare it with the SPAM database and determines if it is spam or not. If it thinks it is spam, it will flag it in the subject line with Spam:************, Message subject. The system will then place it into the Held folder. If you connect with your email client, these messages are not downloaded. To check spam, you have to connect to the mail server via http://webmail.yourdomain.com.au, login and click on "Held". You will get a list of all emails considered spam. You can then decide to allow messages to go through or confirm it as spam.

Please Note: If you don't do anything, the messages in the Held folder are automatically deleted after 14 days!

If a message was flagged as spam, but is not, choose....

Release - will deliver the message to you

Delete - will delete the message

Allow - will deliver the message and add the senders address to your Friends list. The next time you get a message from that sender, it will get straight through

IsSpam - will delete the message

NotSpam - will deliver the message to you
